What is the convergence of SQL Server and DevOps?
Combing software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops), DevOps is an approach to achieving greater efficiency and quality in the development life cycle — better programming in less time, and aligned with business objectives.
In the words of Steve Jones, who co-hosted our July webinar, “Ultimately, DevOps is better collaboration, getting all teams on board working together. Like many people rowing a boat, every group needs to align their work with others to ensure a smooth and successful journey.”
As applied to SQL Server, DevOps is all about ensuring that database deployments and code development aren’t bottlenecks in the app deployment process. SQL DevOps streamlines (and potentially automates) the deployment of high-quality SQL Server databases. In this webinar you will learn how to apply DevOps to database building, testing, and releasing, just like any other software.
