In July, CrowdStrike was in the news around the world for all the wrong reasons. As a data professional, the last thing you want to see is your endpoint protection provider making headlines.

Beyond those headlines is a valuable lesson that SQL Server best practices exist to protect your instances and, as far as possible, prevent the worst from happening.

In this webinar, Randy Knight, SQL Solutions Group Founder and Principal Consultant, will provide a brief overview of what caused the CrowdStrike incident and the implications it had on servers running SQL Server. He will also discuss the impact similar challenges can have on your systems. After the doom and gloom, he’ll then show you what is really needed for SQL Server protection and give you some good information to take to your InfoSec team.

About Randy Knight

In addition, he has numerous Novell, Microsoft, and Cisco legacy certifications.
