DBA Essentials: Extended Events & Query Store — A Webinar

a server room representing extended events

Monitoring SQL Server is one of the core actions and responsibilities a DBA has. Thankfully, SQL Server already has two powerful tools to make this easier.

Extended Events in SQL Server is a lightweight, flexible tool for tracking and troubleshooting database activity. Query Store in SQL Server is like a “black box recorder” for your database queries. It automatically tracks query performance over time, storing execution plans and runtime statistics.

Both should have a prominent place in a DBA’s toolkit to help optimize SQL Server performance. But, we often find these two resources go unused. Rich Benner, SSG Senior Consultant, wants to change that. In this webinar, Rich helps you get started using both tools and illustrates how useful they are. Don’t miss it!
